Alana is the Client & Markets Manager for an insurance litigation firm, having worked as an insurance lawyer and claims manager with two global insurers. Alana has delved into the nitty-gritty of risk transfer, mitigation and claims. Her current role brings together insurers, brokers, clients and lawyers with the aim strengthening relationships and achieving the best outcomes during insurance disputes.

Social Media and Communications Committee
Last year Emma started a Risk, Safety and Quality consultancy. Prior to that she was the Safety and Quality manager for Airbus NZ Ltd. Originally from the UK, Emma spent nearly 18 years as an Air Engineer in the Royal Navy, specialising in aviation at sea, managing high risk activities both in practice and from behind a desk.
Emma took on the role of Chair of the Social Media and Communications sub-committee as she believes increasing awareness and understanding of risk to be hugely important for NZ Business.
Callum started in the banking sector in a risk based graduate program before moving into regulatory change roles. Most recently he has begun supporting customers in the post-write-off space.
Callum is passionate about RIMS as he believes it is a great way to get a diverse group of like-minded people together to tackle the big issues affecting our industries and planet.
Louise is the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance Services at LOD. In her role she is responsible for leading a team that provides organisations with commercially focussed legal, risk & compliance advice and solutions. Louise is a lawyer with risk & compliance expertise whose background has included working at BNZ, where she led legal and risk & compliance teams, and several major NZ law firms.
Louise believes RIMs is doing great things to provide risk & compliance professionals with fantastic tools, information and support, which is why she is keen to encourage more people to be part of the RIMS community through her involvement in the membership sub-committee.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
Megan has a broad background including extensive risk experience and is presently Manager Enterprise Risk at NZ Super Fund. Megan has a strong belief in building organisational culture and lifting risk capability through access to tools, frameworks and education.
Combining governance experience with over ten years of hands on involvement with driving D, E & I in complex environments made Megan an ideal choice to lead this strategically important sub-committee for RIMS NZ&PI.
