Organisational culture plays a critical role in the ways people understand, think about and act in relation to risk, compliance, and conduct. The impact of the regulatory focus on risk culture in financial services is felt across government, NFPs and other industry sectors and while many organisations have taken steps to understand their cultures, the quality and actionability of resulting insights is typically poor. In this session we’ll explore some of the common risk culture myths and design traps that organisations unwittingly adopt, serving to perpetuate blind spots and entrench an inability to understand and address definitive root cause.
