    Join us for the latesRisk and Insurance Management Society, New Zealand and Pacific Islands (RIMS NZ&PI) chapter’s Lunch & Learn session focussing on Insurance renewals: Submissions process and key insights.

    RIMS NZ&PI is excited to invite members to the latest in the Lunch & Learn series from the RIMS NZ&PI Insurance workstream. This online session will provide members with a tripartite overview of the insurance renewal submission process. We will hear from insureds, insurers, and brokers as we explore this important part of the insurance landscape.

    The panel discussion will be moderated by Martyn Fair, RIMS NZ&PI Board member and Fonterra's Head of Insurance. He will be joined by an experienced panel comprising Hannah Ringland (Chapter Lead Corporate Insurance at Air New Zealand), Martyn Sinclair (Marsh New Zealand, Managing Director, Head of Corporate) and Alan James (AIG NZ, Head of Client & Broker Engagement). 

    This is an easily accessible and valuable opportunity for RIMS NZ&PI members to gain insights from key industry stakeholders to inform their approach to insurance as a critical component of their risk management strategy

    Keynote presentation - Surviving 2025: will 2026 be NZ’s time to thrive

    Jarrod Kerr, Chief Economist at Kiwibank, will deliver a comprehensive analysis of New Zealand’s economic resilience, examining whether signs of recovery are emerging and if 2026 could mark a turning point for industry growth.

    Panel discussion - 75 Years of Resilience: Shaping the Future of Risk Management

    Our panel discussion will feature the Board Chairs from our esteemed sponsors—Matt Prichard (KPMG), Mary-Jane Daly (AIG), and Toni Ferrier (Marsh)—and will be moderated by RIMS NZ Chapter President, Iain Gallie. Together, they will explore the evolution of risk management over the decades, assess current resilience across sectors, and share insights into the priorities of Boards and Directors. The session will also consider what the next decade may hold for the discipline of risk management.
