EVENTS

Ethics and Conduct – a lunchtime session with Jane Arnott

Organisational conditions that give rise to moral injury violate our sense of justice, which according to some social science theories is hardwired into our brains. This means that perceptions of justice (or injustice) in the workplace have profound effects on employees. When people feel subjected to unfair or undignified conditions, they’re four times more likely to act with self-interest and dishonesty.

Cyber Security – a sharing discussion with Tony Arnold

Cyber-crime in New Zealand is on an upward trajectory. With 350+ incidents recorded by New Zealand’s National Cyber Security Centre in the 2019/2020 period it is critical organisations are prepared and understand the global context.

Influence – understanding the value with Kathryn Sandford

A critical skill within the world of risk is that of ‘Influence’ – an ability to communicate the value that effective risk management brings to an organisation, taking individuals on the journey, influencing them to embed risk management into business-as-usual activities – these are ALL critical to a successful risk management strategy.
